:: Some Words I Have To Say ::
These are just some words I have to say right now before they get tangled up in the midst of studying for CAs.
Firstly, I would like to thank my dear friends Nur Adila bte Ahmad Hatib and Ho Huilin for the really cute greeny beany bear and ultimately for coming down all the way to a Mt Everest equivalent place in NUS on a hot Saturday afternoon to watch and support the production of the M2s. I personally convey my heart-felt gratitude and appreciation to both of you.
Next, I would like to say a big congratulations to Hartirathpal Kaur d/o Juspal Singh for putting up an amazing performance today. My word, you were looking all kinds of gorgeous and beautiful in your dress and make-up! Do not be surprised if you get some suitors calling you for hot dates mann! It was a pleasure to be part of the play with you definitely! And yes, what we are feeling now is a complete contrast to the emotional catharsis we were going through the other day on the bus ride mann! Haha!
Thirdly, as I took my flu tablet and lie on my bed in a half-drowsy state, I was thinking about the M5s and the unity they showed today and I think they are really a bunch to look up to. They set out their play as a means to send a message to the rest of the medical school and my word did they! I can't help but to picture ourselves 3 years from now. What sort of picture will we paint? Will we be having cold sweats everyday? Will we be having permanent Herpes Simplex 1 reactivation due to the immense stress? Will we be so busy mugging for the final pros that we forget why we wanted to be doctors at the first place? Will we just sit for exams, pass and then take things from there. Serving year by year without any purpose? Well whatever it is what I want is for us go through those tough times in future together. Helping one another. How are we to help our patients if first and foremost we don't help each other right? I think that is what that struck me most during the M5 play. Even as we might be stressed preparing for the exams, we must be conscious to look out for each other. In the clinical years, it will be Harti, Adila and Huilin and me, Asrie and Meifang. Well, sad as it might be the separation but I am sure we will stride together when the going gets tough. I think that's enough for my random thoughts. Time now to concentrate on the upcoming CAs. All the best to you guys and all the best to Us. To Siti, hope you're doing great in SMU and Boredin, hang on there buddy I know you are hating those pure Mathematics stuff in your Physics classes!
Love,
Hamid
