Indeed The Future Looks Rather Bleak!!

Hahaha the description of our monstrous future selves had me laughing so loudly my dad shouted at me from upstairs! May i add that DASHMHB must also converse using the never-before-heard brand of Standartt English from Tailand, and must possess an uncontrollable urge and passion for baking chocolate cakes, specially iced with love & cooperation.

I see hamid has gone 1 step up by vlogging! Seems like so long ago that we were stuck there studying for spots...Laughtertears is certainly getting more and more exciting by the day since Harti revived it!!

Well, i have taken the liberty to draw out DASHMHB in as much detail as possible. It's not an excellent portrayal, but i was using a mouse so it's as best as i can manage...hee hee excuse my idleness but it is a lazy sun night...

:: Summary of Diasithameiharbored ::

Congratulations and a huge pat on the back of Hartirathpal Kaur d/o Juspal Singh for her animated description of Diasithameiharbored. It was a truly intriguing entry and it has inspired me to dwell a little further into the future us. To start, what a fantastically cool name we have: "Diasithameiharbored". I guess it should be pronounced as DIE-AS-THA-MAY-HARBOURED ? Whatever it is, it sounds cool mann! You know what I mean? Anyway, I have certain concerns over the physical appearance of Diasithameiharbored as I tried to create a mental picture based on Hartirathpal Kaur d/o Juspal Singh's descriptions and it was scarier than the scariest nightmare I have ever had. If you guys do not remember, let me refresh the physical elements of Diasithameiharbored as Hartirathpal Kaur d/o Juspal Singh described.

1) Goatee, preferably sculpted to great detail every so often.

2) Hair must be long and uncut, tied in a bun and secured with a brown scrunchie.

3) Likely to suffer from RLS - restless leg syndrom, a incurable disease which is fortunately not harmful.

4) Face of a DASHMHB can come in many different shades and colours, however there must be some level of consistency in the shape of the nose whereby a prominent nose bridge has to be present.

5) The choice of pitch of voice should be that of a high pitch soprano and he/she will specialise in making chipmunk noises and songs.

So as you guys have seen, putting together this smorgasbord of details together, we get an indeed scary picture of us! I just wanted to add an element of fright and anxiety to our future. ARE WE READY TO FACE THE MONSTER IN US?

Love.

~the future of the gang~

And the silly and wacky things we chat about online get even sillier and wackier... twas a Saturday night just after reading Asroe's first blog entry (which i think was excellent! congrats on breaking the barrier and entering the world of the blogs!) when rustom, asroe and myself were chatting online. And we realised that we said so many similar things.... and thought similarly too.. Thats when we started wondering if we were all turning into one another as our minds began to assimilate, our languages began to fuse into one major remix, our fahsion senses merged, our characters blended and we became perfectly identical by the end of M5. The very thought sent a shiver down our spines as we began to picture what the Diasithameiharbored of the future will be like. Brace yourselves as we present to you the inevitable state we will all reach as one united group... Ready? Haha read on

The perfect Diasithameiharbored (DASHMHB) must have the following features and characteristics. He/She must have a goatee, preferably sculpted to great detail every so often. Also, his/her hair must be long and uncut, tied in a bun and secured with a brown scrunchie. (DASHMHB) must also have a solely pink wadrobe, preferably of different shades of pink. He/She must enjoy the wonderful pastime of lepaking and must avoid being punctual where possible. He/She is most likely to suffer from RLS - restless leg syndrom, a incurable disease which is fortunately not harmful. His/her choice of bag should also preferably be a harversack school bag. The face of a DASHMHB can come in many different shades and colours, however there must be some level of consistency in the shape of the nose whereby a prominent nose bridge has to be present. DASHMHBs must also enjoy singing at anytime and anyplace regardless of whether the people around him/her wish to listen to his/her voice. The choice of pitch of voice should be that of a high pitch soprano and he/she will specialise in making chipmunk noises and songs. He/She is also required to make at least 10 Boo Boos a day. It is also a protocol for all DASHMHBs to make a characteristic "brrrr" sound when toning their triceps at the gym. Other than working out at the gym, he or she has to commit to running 6km before meals daily to keep up with a healthy lifestyle. He/She is also required to drink MILO daily regardless of the amount of calories it contains.

Ready to face the future guys? To infinity and beyond....

My first!

hey hey hey

guess this is long overdue ey?

how? shocked to see a post from me? haha.. yea i noe.. the world is coming to an end lah.. =)

anywayz.. was looking thru hartoe's and di's aussie photos before this. hartoe ur commentary was rather cute lah.. or were they adila's? beautiful photos they are. i shall upload photos of my trips should i find the time.

well here are some photos for ur viewing pleasure..

1st up, photos from Survivor Kids Camp, a 3D2N camp organised for children from this care centre. They come from single-parent homes, homes with parents who find they don't have the time to take care of their kids (disgusting huh?), low income families, and a few other criteria which i forgot.

mandi kerbau! hmmm.. sorry for those who don't speak malay, but i can't find a good translation of this malay phrase. somebody help me out here? it's a really quick way of bathing, when u lack the time or the resources. well the theme of this camp was "survivor", so yeah.. hence the method of bathing! had lotsa fun spraying water on the kids while they ran around the field soaping their body. erh.. the girls of course bathed uneventfully in the privacy of the female changing room.

the kids learning Silat from silat masters who took part in the SEA games. see this little girl in blue? she was my adopted sister for the camp. one can't help but adore her when u listen to the way she speaks.. haiz.. she's pri 1 btw. if u look hard enough you'll see some oversized kids who look like cartoon characters trying out silat. they are our facis =)

terrorizing the children with blind man's walk. i didn't get a photo of the group i led, but the girl whom i was leading kept squeezing my hand every 5 seconds just to test that it was really me and not "something else" which was leading her around.

settling down to a nice dinner of bbqed food.

wonderful games masters and me..

till the next post. guten nacht! (german for gd nite)

:: It's Alive !! ::

Hello Lovelies,

Finally, I find some semblance of live in this blog. Things are getting better I hope. Let this not be just a fizz in a can of coke that will die off with time. Let this be the hole in the ozone that is forever expanding in size. Well, hope everyone is in good stead and health. I hope everyone is happy with themselves and with the things that they have been doing these days. I hope everyone is enjoying this lull period which is soon to be over. The slap of reality is lingering around the corner so let us be prepared. Well, life is such an imponderable, isn't it? Although so many things in life are simple, it is this simplicity that we never question. It is beautiful in its own sense because sometimes things are just so easy and straightforward that we do not even stop to think about them. I will leave this post with these Imponderables. ~Enjoy!

Love y'all!

If people from Poland are called Poles, why aren't people from Holland called Holes?

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Why do overlook and oversee mean opposite things?

Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery?

Can you be a closet claustrophobic?

rotiboy

As you guys can probably tell now, I am the only one making noise here... and that is not good coz you all should make some noise too! Anyway just to feed this space a lil, I decided to type out that lovely poem that Adila and I learnt as we were walking around Clementi central while waiting for Hamid before Chinese lesson. We have recited it before but in case we forget, here is the masterpiece of literature for all to read:

I am here
You are there
But for you
I will always care
To see how you feel
And how you fare
How I wish
I was always there

~drama mama la you~

Aiyo why so emotional and dramatic, demise of the blog and one minutes silence and other drastic stuff? Hamid so drama mama la. It is not dead! Unless I am now a ghost! Haha. People, don't let this thing die la, stop mourning and all... save this with me! Come on, lets try this shall we? I had no idea that it was killed while I was away if not I would definitely have sent out a rescue team or something. Anyway how has everyone been keeping? Not met you guys for ages now! Hope Siti, Asrie and Boredin had a great time in Thailand and MeiFang is doing well with driving ( k i just realised meifang is not in the blog group.. how come ah) and Hamid enjoying his time enriching the minds of young and impressionable kids. Me and Rustom just got back from Aussie, well actually Rustom is on her way back on the plane even as I type! We have loads of stories to share too!! So yes, the blog shall live... i hope.
Cheers,
Harti***
