~Playhouse Pictures (At Last)~
Once upon a time in a far away land there lived some bad guys (and girl) headed by the evil prince Zhen Ke Wu, who was incidentally the best swordsman on one side of the 7 mountains.
Prince Zhen was so evil he that he kidnapped the poor swooning ladies in waiting as they were busy swooning over him, but wait they look amused! What are they saying ..? Lady 1: Psst Lady 2 don't you think beheading is so old fashioned? Lady 2: I think so too Lady 1!
Zhen Ke Wu actually thought that it was all quite funny I mean killing and all you know... so he gave the prototype villian guffaw and laughed away madly..
Lady 1 soon got sick of his laughing and when he put his sword down, she took it up and attempted beheading him while he simply rolled his eyeballs and yawned
But before she could complete her task she spotted her two favourite sisters... Lady 2 and the eunuch and ran off to join them in fun and play!
Well it was most unfortunate but soon after there was a confrontation you know... good ol Hollywood style.. good guys vs bad guys
But the gallant Wuxia hero finally managed to talk Zhen Ke Wu out of being a stuck up irritatingly evil rapper and they became friends, much to Xiao Long Bao's dismay!
Now that Prince Zhen was rather harmless, Huilin decided it would be safe to take a pic with him.. and how happy they seem
She had to take one with bimbo Lady 1 again for Lady 1 was never again to look so weird... alas You Mian ran into the background
And the ladies decided to wait on Princess Mo before they gave in their hankies forever....
Presenting the excellent M2 cast of Playhouse 2005... and what a play it was! =)

:: Some Words I Have To Say ::
These are just some words I have to say right now before they get tangled up in the midst of studying for CAs.
Firstly, I would like to thank my dear friends Nur Adila bte Ahmad Hatib and Ho Huilin for the really cute greeny beany bear and ultimately for coming down all the way to a Mt Everest equivalent place in NUS on a hot Saturday afternoon to watch and support the production of the M2s. I personally convey my heart-felt gratitude and appreciation to both of you.
Next, I would like to say a big congratulations to Hartirathpal Kaur d/o Juspal Singh for putting up an amazing performance today. My word, you were looking all kinds of gorgeous and beautiful in your dress and make-up! Do not be surprised if you get some suitors calling you for hot dates mann! It was a pleasure to be part of the play with you definitely! And yes, what we are feeling now is a complete contrast to the emotional catharsis we were going through the other day on the bus ride mann! Haha!
Thirdly, as I took my flu tablet and lie on my bed in a half-drowsy state, I was thinking about the M5s and the unity they showed today and I think they are really a bunch to look up to. They set out their play as a means to send a message to the rest of the medical school and my word did they! I can't help but to picture ourselves 3 years from now. What sort of picture will we paint? Will we be having cold sweats everyday? Will we be having permanent Herpes Simplex 1 reactivation due to the immense stress? Will we be so busy mugging for the final pros that we forget why we wanted to be doctors at the first place? Will we just sit for exams, pass and then take things from there. Serving year by year without any purpose? Well whatever it is what I want is for us go through those tough times in future together. Helping one another. How are we to help our patients if first and foremost we don't help each other right? I think that is what that struck me most during the M5 play. Even as we might be stressed preparing for the exams, we must be conscious to look out for each other. In the clinical years, it will be Harti, Adila and Huilin and me, Asrie and Meifang. Well, sad as it might be the separation but I am sure we will stride together when the going gets tough. I think that's enough for my random thoughts. Time now to concentrate on the upcoming CAs. All the best to you guys and all the best to Us. To Siti, hope you're doing great in SMU and Boredin, hang on there buddy I know you are hating those pure Mathematics stuff in your Physics classes!
Love,
Hamid

Ok i just typed out a whole long post and then accidentally clicked the thumbtack icon and dunno what happened to the post, coz rememeber my stupic lappie displays squares instead of words for many icons.. grrr! Anyway yes i am all high from playhouse. I think that it was just a fantastic experience to say the least. I recall how when me and Hamid found out that we got through the auditions ( that we apparently went just for fun ) we were so terribly depressed and tried all means and ways to get out of it but to no avail. And we ended up having the most depressing busride home feeling an impending sense of doom thinking of how we would not be able to commit. But as we started rehearsals and I took hold of my silk scarf for the first time, i realised that this was gonna be some pretty good stuff. And I am so happy now that we were part of it as it was really an experience to remember and treasure always. So after many a hanky flipping, flirting with any Y chromosomer on stage, bimbotic antics and wearing Princess Leia style hair buns, we finally arrived to today and i think we managed to pull it off pretty well =) And Hamid i think that you were simply excellent... really you were one of the best actors today! So proud of you! Great rapping and swordfighting and all man. It was good fun being in the play with ya! And thank you so much to Adila Huilin and our other friends who came down to support us today! Meant lots to see everyone being so supportive of the M2 play.. was really nice to see the batch spirit today. Which brings me to the M5 play. It was just fantastic la.... its amazing how that even in their final year they managed to put up such a excellent show and displayed so much spirit! Really look up to their batch! Ok at the moment I am trying to figure out how to put photos up here... we took many zany ones today and some got deleted ( so sorry Rustom) but i shall try salvage them nevertheless. Hamid you would be thankful to noe your luscious lipstick pic got spoilt as well =( how sad, nevermind, there will be many other opportunities for you to wear lipstick and eyeliner and look gorgeous. Now that all my "highness" is dying down, CAs has started to bounce into my mind again... haiz! K i will put up the pics when i know how to. Its very difficult when all you see is squares. Till then.. tata!

Favourite Places
The cutest of the cute, these baby ducks are often spotted in the spring following closely behind their mother. As a duckling you will grow up quickly, becoming one of the adult ducks seen commonly in ponds and streams. Playful and timid, charming and vulnerable, ducklings are nature's very definition of innocence.
